Renoly Santiago is a Puerto Rican actor, singer, and writer best known for his memorable roles in the cult classic films Hackers, Dangerous Minds, and Con Air. With a versatile career spanning film, television, Broadway, and music, Santiago has become a dynamic force in the entertainment industry.

He made his television debut as Tito in the 1993 Emmy-nominated series CityKids, a project he also co-wrote. His breakout film role came in 1995 as Raúl Sanchero in Dangerous Minds, opposite Michelle Pfeiffer. The following year, Santiago gained international attention as Ramón “Phantom Phreak” Sánchez in Hackers, starring alongside Angelina Jolie and Jonny Lee Miller. In 1997, he played the flamboyant and unforgettable Sally-Can’t Dance in the hit action film Con Air.

Renoly also appeared in Daylight (as Mikey), Punks (as Dante), The Street King (as Cesar Rojas), and Just Another Romantic Wrestling Comedy (as Scorpio). He returned to film as Johnny Pacheco in the Héctor Lavoe biopic The King and stars alongside Kelly McGillis in Grand Street.

On stage, Santiago earned critical acclaim in Paul Simon’s Broadway musical The Capeman, portraying gang leader Tony “Umbrella Man” Hernandez—a role that earned him a Drama Desk Award nomination for Outstanding Featured Actor in a Musical in 1998.

His television work includes guest appearances on Touched by an Angel, Big Apple, and Law & Order: Criminal Intent, where he played Chiggy Rios in the episode “The Faithful.”

As a recording artist, Renoly has collaborated with Latin music legends such as Marc Anthony, Paul Simon, Danny Rivera, and La India. In 2014, he returned to his hometown of Union City, New Jersey, to teach professional acting workshops at the William V. Musto Cultural Center, sharing his experience and passion with aspiring performers.
