David Eddings is an American voice actor and video game industry veteran, best known as the original voice of Claptrap, the beloved and wisecracking robot from Gearbox Software’s Borderlands franchise. His performance as Claptrap became an instant fan favorite, earning him widespread recognition—including SpikeTV’s 2012 VGA Character of the Year award.
With over 15 years in the gaming world, David’s voice credits also include standout roles in Poker Night 2, Postal 4: No Regerts, Postal 2: Paradise Lost, Bendy and the Ink Machine, and Tales from the Borderlands.
