Joshua Herdman, an English actor and mixed martial artist, gained prominence for his portrayal of Gregory Goyle in the iconic Harry Potter film series. His acting journey commenced at a young age of seven when he ventured into the industry, securing representation through his father’s efforts. At the age of 13, he earned the role of Gregory Goyle, the loyal sidekick of Draco Malfoy, in “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” (2001). Throughout the franchise’s progression, Herdman reprised his character in all seven sequels.

In the 2018 film “Robin Hood,” he portrayed the character Righteous, sharing the screen with acclaimed actors like Taron Egerton, Jamie Foxx, and Jamie Dornan.

Transitioning into mixed martial arts (MMA) after five years of dedicated jiujitsu practice, Herdman made his MMA debut on April 23, 2016, securing a decision win over Janusz Walachowski in Romford. He expressed his passion for the sport, highlighting its rawness, excitement, and unpredictability. Drawing from his jiujitsu training, Herdman envisioned starting with amateur fights to delve into MMA’s realm, showcasing his enthusiasm for this new chapter in his career.
